Move In/Out Cleaning by Natchez Trace Cleaning

Move In/Out Cleaning

Empty-home cleaning that reaches inside cabinets, drawers, closets and the pantry.

About Our Move In/Out Cleaning Services

For a home with the furniture and boxes already gone, Move In/Out Cleaning runs our longest checklist. Book it after you move out or before the first box comes in.

Best for: renters handing back keys, sellers before closing, and buyers who want the cabinets cleaned before unpacking

When you book, select this service by name on the booking form so the visit is scheduled with the right checklist. If you'd like to check something first, send us a message.

How Booking Works

Three Steps, Start to Finish

Step 1. Pick a Service and a Date

Choose the service on our booking form, describe your home, pick a date, and add a card to hold the visit.

Step 2. The Cleaner Works the List

Your cleaner shows up within a roughly two-hour window, carrying supplies, and works the checklist for the plan you booked.

Step 3. Payment and the Next Visit

The card is charged once the clean is complete. Recurring visits then repeat on the schedule you set.

The Extra Work an Empty Home Allows

Inside Cabinets, Drawers and Closets

With the rooms empty, the cleaner can reach the spaces a lived-in home keeps full. The insides of kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers are wiped, along with cabinets and drawers in the common areas, the linen closet and its shelves, and bedroom closets and their shelves. Pantry shelves are wiped down and the pantry floor is swept, vacuumed or mopped.

The Deep Clean Additions Included

The checklist also carries every Deep Cleaning task that fits an empty home: baseboards, doors, door frames, windowsills and window frames wiped down, shower grout scrubbed, the oven hood vent cleaned and cabinet fronts wiped. Appliance exteriors, the microwave inside and out, the stovetop, sinks, toilets, tubs, mirrors, light switches and floors are cleaned as well.

Before You Book a Move-Out or Move-In Clean

Empty Rooms, Utilities On

Schedule the clean for a day when the furniture, boxes and belongings are out. Keep the water and power connected through the appointment. We may decline a visit where conditions are unsafe, such as disconnected utilities, pests or biohazards, so sort out any of those before the date.

Clear Out Large Trash First

The cleaner empties household trash cans and replaces the bags, but large-scale trash removal is not part of the service. Haul off leftover furniture, bags of discards and anything heavy before the visit. Floor waxing, refinishing and upholstery cleaning are also outside what we offer.

Fitting the Clean Into Moving Week

Pick a date on our Booking page with some slack on either side of it. Moving the date or cancelling requires 48 hours' notice or more; a change made later than that carries a fee, as our Terms describe. The cleaner arrives within a window of about two hours, so plan key handoffs and building access around that span.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Does a House Cleaning Visit Include?

A House Cleaning visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas. The cleaner dusts light fixtures, ceiling fans and windowsills, wipes the stovetop, microwave and counters, cleans the toilet, shower, tub and mirrors, empties the trash and vacuums or mops the floors. The full room-by-room list for each plan is on our checklist page.

What Do Deep Cleaning and Move In/Out Cleaning Add?

Deep Cleaning starts from the House Cleaning list and adds baseboards, doors and door frames, a full wipe of windowsills and window frames, the outside of every kitchen cabinet and drawer, the oven hood vent and the shower grout. Move In/Out Cleaning, for an empty home, adds the insides of cabinets, drawers and closets, plus the pantry.

How Do Booking and Payment Work?

Bookings are made on our booking page, and your card comes in at three points: it goes on file when you book, to secure the date; a temporary hold is placed on it about 24 hours before the visit; and the charge is made only after the cleaning is finished.
