Step 1. Pick a Service and a Date
Choose the service on our booking form, describe your home, pick a date, and add a card to hold the visit.
Step 2. The Cleaner Works the List
Your cleaner shows up within a roughly two-hour window, carrying supplies, and works the checklist for the plan you booked.
Step 3. Payment and the Next Visit
The card is charged once the clean is complete. Recurring visits then repeat on the schedule you set.
Inside a Turnover Clean, Room by Room
Beds Made From the Sheets You Leave Out
Beds are made and sheets changed when fresh sheets are left on the edge of each bed. Supplying and laundering linens isn't on the checklist, so keep a clean set staged in the unit for every turnover, one per bed, and the cleaner will put it on.
Kitchen and Bathrooms Reset for Guests
The cleaner wipes the counters and backsplash, cleans the sink and stovetop, and does the microwave inside and out, along with the outside of the fridge, oven and dishwasher. Bathrooms get the shower or tub, toilet, sink, mirrors and glass cleaned, towel racks polished and hand towels tidied. Washing dishes is not on the list, so ask guests to leave the sink clear.
Living Spaces, Bins and Floors
Through the bedrooms and living areas, the cleaner dusts fans, fixtures, furniture and lampshades, clears cobwebs, folds blankets and arranges pillows. Mirrors, switches and doorknobs are wiped clean. Each bin is emptied with a new bag, the kitchen trash can is wiped down, and floors are vacuumed, swept or mopped.
Scheduling Cleans Around Your Guest Calendar
Book the Gap Between Checkout and Check-In
Choose a date on our Booking page that falls after one guest leaves and before the next one arrives. Arrival times come as a window of roughly two hours; leave enough room between checkout and check-in to cover that window plus the clean itself.
Leave Access Notes in the Booking
Describe the unit in the booking form and say how the cleaner gets into the unit and where to park. Scope changes for a booked turnover close at 5 PM the day before, and cancellations need 48 hours' notice.
What Hosts Keep Handling
Restocking guest supplies and checking for damage aren't on the turnover checklist, so plan to handle those yourself. Secure anything of value left in the unit. Cleaners stay at or below a three-step ladder and do not move heavy furniture, so high shelves and the floor under a heavy bed are yours to handle between guests.
What Does a House Cleaning Visit Include?
A House Cleaning visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas. The cleaner dusts light fixtures, ceiling fans and windowsills, wipes the stovetop, microwave and counters, cleans the toilet, shower, tub and mirrors, empties the trash and vacuums or mops the floors. What Do Deep Cleaning and Move In/Out Cleaning Add?
Deep Cleaning starts from the House Cleaning list and adds baseboards, doors and door frames, a full wipe of windowsills and window frames, the outside of every kitchen cabinet and drawer, the oven hood vent and the shower grout. Move In/Out Cleaning, for an empty home, adds the insides of cabinets, drawers and closets, plus the pantry.
How Do Booking and Payment Work?
Bookings are made on our booking page, and your card comes in at three points: it goes on file when you book, to secure the date; a temporary hold is placed on it about 24 hours before the visit; and the charge is made only after the cleaning is finished.
