Deep Cleaning
The routine clean plus baseboards, door frames, shower grout and the hood vent.
About Our Deep Cleaning Services
Deep Cleaning works through the routine checklist and then the parts it skips, and it suits a first appointment or a home that has gone a while between cleans.
Best for: households starting a recurring plan, getting ready to host, or catching up after a long stretch without cleaning
When you book, select this service by name on the booking form so the visit is scheduled with the right checklist. If you'd like to check something first, send us a message.

Where Deep Cleaning Goes Past the Routine List
Baseboards, Doors and Window Frames
In the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas, the cleaner wipes down baseboards, doors and door frames. Windowsills and window frames, which a routine visit only dusts, are wiped down as well. Wiping these surfaces is not part of a regular House Cleaning, so a deep clean is when they get their turn.
Shower Grout and Bathroom Detail
On top of the routine bathroom work, the cleaner scrubs the tile grout in the shower and wipes the baseboards, doors and frames. The tub or shower, sink, toilet, mirrors and cabinets still get their usual cleaning and disinfecting. Grout scrubbing is cleaning, not mold removal; mold and biohazards are outside what we handle.
Cabinet Fronts and the Hood Vent
In the kitchen, the oven hood vent is cleaned and the exteriors of all cabinets and drawers are wiped down, rather than spot cleaned around the handles. Cabinet and drawer insides are on the Move In/Out checklist, not this one. The oven and fridge get their outsides cleaned; their insides aren't on any of our checklists.
Getting the Home Ready for a Deep Clean
Move Heavy Pieces Beforehand
Our cleaners do not move heavy furniture or appliances and do not climb higher than a three-step ladder. If you want the baseboard behind a dresser or the floor under a sofa cleaned, shift it before the appointment. Ledges and fixtures out of reach from that ladder are left as they are.
Follow It With Routine Visits
A deep clean makes a sensible starting point for House Cleaning or Recurring Cleaning, which then keep the same rooms in order without repeating the detail work at every visit. When the baseboards and grout need attention again, another deep clean can go in between routine visits.
What Does a House Cleaning Visit Include?
A House Cleaning visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas. The cleaner dusts light fixtures, ceiling fans and windowsills, wipes the stovetop, microwave and counters, cleans the toilet, shower, tub and mirrors, empties the trash and vacuums or mops the floors. The full room-by-room list for each plan is on our checklist page.
What Do Deep Cleaning and Move In/Out Cleaning Add?
Deep Cleaning starts from the House Cleaning list and adds baseboards, doors and door frames, a full wipe of windowsills and window frames, the outside of every kitchen cabinet and drawer, the oven hood vent and the shower grout. Move In/Out Cleaning, for an empty home, adds the insides of cabinets, drawers and closets, plus the pantry.
How Do Booking and Payment Work?
Bookings are made on our booking page, and your card comes in at three points: it goes on file when you book, to secure the date; a temporary hold is placed on it about 24 hours before the visit; and the charge is made only after the cleaning is finished.
