What Does a House Cleaning Visit Include?

A House Cleaning visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas. The cleaner dusts light fixtures, ceiling fans and windowsills, wipes the stovetop, microwave and counters, cleans the toilet, shower, tub and mirrors, empties the trash and vacuums or mops the floors. The full room-by-room list for each plan is on our checklist page.

What Do Deep Cleaning and Move In/Out Cleaning Add?

Deep Cleaning starts from the House Cleaning list and adds baseboards, doors and door frames, a full wipe of windowsills and window frames, the outside of every kitchen cabinet and drawer, the oven hood vent and the shower grout. Move In/Out Cleaning, for an empty home, adds the insides of cabinets, drawers and closets, plus the pantry.

How Do Booking and Payment Work?

Bookings are made on our booking page, and your card comes in at three points: it goes on file when you book, to secure the date; a temporary hold is placed on it about 24 hours before the visit; and the charge is made only after the cleaning is finished.

Which Towns Do You Serve?

Natchez Trace Cleaning is based in Franklin, Tennessee, and cleans homes in Brentwood, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Nolensville, Fairview and Arrington. We travel up to 25 miles from Franklin, so if your town isn't on that list, email us or send your address through the contact form and we'll tell you whether it's in range.

Are You Insured, and Are Cleaners Background-Checked?

Yes to both. Natchez Trace Cleaning is insured, and every cleaner we send is background-checked. If we ever need to assign a different cleaner to your booking, we'll let you know before the visit.

Who Provides the Cleaning Supplies?

Your cleaner brings them. Supplies are included: the cleaning products and equipment the visit needs come with the cleaner, so you don't have to buy anything or leave your own supplies out. Sheets are the exception: if you want them changed, leave a fresh set on the edge of each bed.

How Much Notice Do I Need to Cancel or Reschedule?

Cancelling or rescheduling needs at least 48 hours' notice; email us or use the contact form. Changes made later than that carry a fee, set out in our Terms of Service. If you're on Recurring Cleaning, check the spacing when you move a visit: two visits more than 30 days apart bring a reset fee on the next one.

What Are Your Hours, and When Will the Cleaner Arrive?

We're open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM, and closed Sunday. There's no service on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Each booking has an arrival window of about two hours.

Is There Anything a Cleaner Won't Do?

Cleaners won't climb higher than a 3-step ladder or move heavy furniture or appliances. They also don't wet-wipe light bulbs, wax or refinish floors, clean upholstery, remove biohazards or mold, or haul off large amounts of trash. We may decline a visit where conditions are unsafe, such as disconnected utilities, pests or biohazards.

How Should I Get Ready for a Visit?

Pick up clothing, toys, dishes and clutter before the cleaner arrives, so the time goes to cleaning. If you want behind or under something heavy cleaned, move it beforehand. Put away cash, jewelry and other valuables. Scope changes for a booked clean must reach us by 5 PM the day before, by email or the contact form.
